Fishing Merit Badge Day on Saturday, October 10. Meet at the Boonsboro Food Lion at 8:30, cook at Peakland UMC, pickup at 5:30. Bring your own pole and Fishing workbook. Register by September 21. Troop covers the fish.

Spy Rock Campout
One-night backpacking trip to Spy Rock, October 23–24. A good first backpack for newer Scouts and a quick trip for older Scouts, with sunrise from the top.
U.S. Capitol Tour & Camping Trip
Due to needing to reserve tours we will need a count of how many scouts and leaders will be able to attend the November 13-15 trip to Washington D.C.
Day Hike at Devil’s Marbleyard
Day hike at Devil’s Marbleyard on Saturday, December 12. Meet at the Boonsboro Food Lion at 9:00 AM, back around 5:00 PM. Bring sturdy shoes. Sign up by Monday, December 7.
Wreaths Across America Service Project
A service project at Old City Cemetery. Help set up, lay wreaths on veterans’ graves, and tear down after the ceremony.

[CANCELED] This is a joint event with Pack 29, our Cub Scout counterpart. We’ll teach fire building, knots, first aid and show the Cub Scouts what scouting is all about!

Cub Scout Pack Fun & Info Night
Pack 29 Fun & Info Night on Thursday, September 3, 6:30-8:00 PM at Peakland United Methodist Church in Boonsboro. Boys and girls grades 1-5 and families welcome. Troop 29 is helping host.

Via Ferrata Rock Climbing Campout
This will be a thrilling high adventure trip for older scouts and adults. We will be experiencing Via Ferrata style rock climbing led by a professional guide at Nelson Rocks in West Virginia.
Summer Camp at Cherokee Scout Reservation
Join us for summer camp this year in Yanceyville, NC! Camp Cherokee has an excellent program with a wide variety of fun outdoor activities, merit badges, and more. Let’s go!
James River Batteau Festival Canoe Trip
We will be participating in the James River Batteau Festival by canoe. This will be a multi-night paddle and camp trek with 5 days of paddling and 4 nights of camping, plus an opportunity to earn the 50 miler award!
Swim Check for Canoe Trip & Summer Camp
Get your BSA Swim Check at the downtown YMCA so you can participate in the Batteau Festival Canoe Trip, Summer Camp, and other water-related activities!
Broken Arrow Campout
Join us for our annual Broken Arrow campout! It’s a time for us to do a brush clearing service project, build a giant bonfire, eat good food, and invite our families to enjoy the scouting experience!
Caleb Viar's Eagle Scout Project
We will be constructing a GaGa Ball pit at Boonsboro Elementary April 11th, with the weather date as April 12th. Food and drinks will be provided.

This is an exciting high adventure trip that will challenge you, help you develop physical and mental grit, and build camaraderie with your fellow scouts.

This will be a campout for all scouts who are First Class and above to hone their leadership skills and learn how to serve as part of the Patrol Leader’s Council.
